Finished look starting to take shape

One of the main jobs to do whilst out in France for a couple of weeks was to install the finished materials on the feature wall and render the other exposed concreate walls.

A bit of a labour of love and definitely a family effort, it took around two days to install all of the stone tiles (no pattern given!) on both the waterfall wall and also the planter that connects the wall to the terrace.

It took another couple of days of effort to render the rear faces of the feature wall and the planter that goes next to the wall.

The (nearly) finished look can be seen on a lovely evening, with the solar shower also installed. The final part for this wall will be to point the stonework, which should be done late May on another trip out before the liner is installed.
