Tidy up…

That is all of the work complete for this trip and with four concrete pours completed, 26.5m3 in total, it has been a real success, despite the little setback and upset at the formwork giving way on the first attempt.

Sail-shade posts can be seen in place, but they are removeable from the sleeves, which are set into the concrete slab.

Majority of formwork removed, showing what the final wall will look like, with waterfall projecting out of wall (green strip).

The blocks and plywood, on which the feature wall was built, are being left in place whilst the concrete cures to the full strength (approx. 28 days).

View from on top of the feature wall, which is quite a height without any water in the pool (3m!)

Technical room, with sloping room complete, with all plumbing through walls, ready to connect to pipes running to / from pool. The actual roof will be completed at a later stage and eventually tiled to match surrounding buildings. Ground level will be built up by approx. 700mm to the same height as retaining wall in photo, which will bury / hide all plumbing pipes.
