Shallow end and slope junctions installed

Two more rows of L-Shaped rebar have been installed to accommodate the shallow end and slope. We have chosen to make single level slab for the main pool basin, which should allow us to make the block-work wall more easily than trying to create different levels, with slopes between them.

The shallow end (left and side of image) will be created by making a small 600mm high wall across the pool and then back-fill with blocks and scrap to make a higher (shallow) section of approx 1.2m. The top of this wall will also connect to lost form-work on the other side, sloping down to the other row of L-Shaped rebar, which will be bent over to the same 12 degree slope once the concrete slab has properly cured.
