Since looking at buying a house in France, we always had the dream of having a swimming pool. After searching high and low around the mid-west of France for the dream home, we concluded that we could not find a dream house with a dream pool… It was either a dream pool or a dream house…
Given the amount of work that we have undertaken on our main house in the UK, we decided that we did not want another renovation project and wanted a second home where we could relax and be comfortable.
Therefore, a project to create the dream pool was the way forward…
We have the ideal spot for the pool, even the previous owners referred to the area of land as the pool.
This is where the dreaming started… For those who know me, I normally start off very conventional and small, but soon my ideas get bigger and better, until I come up with something that I am happy with, after all we should not have any regrets from such big ventures should we?
Well, after many evenings and weekends trawling the internet for inspiration and ideas, the following is what I have come up with for our pool design.
The next challenge is how to make that dream a reality…
